About Us

Card Corporation

M/s Card Corporation was established in 1986 at Bangalore by Shri R V Chandra Mohan (ex- MICO Bosch senior employee) to supply specialised grooved pins to MICO. Started as a small entity at house-garage, today grown into a specialist of grooved pins backed up by German Engineering to manufacture various types, dia sizes, materials to suit a wide range of applications for customers across India.

Mr Deviprasad B Pai has taken charge of M/s Card Corporation from 1/4/2026. He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) Surathkal and holds an MBA (Marketing and Finance) from T.A.Pai Management Institute (TAPMI). He brings 30 plus years of experience in Manufacturing, Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, Channel Development, and many other functions at large Corporates and MNCs. He opted to be an 'Entrepreneur' to live his passion and contribute to the success journey of 'Make in India'.

Dia 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 mm as standard size (or customised size as per customer requirements) with precision tolerances.

Pin Material

The pin material directly influences its mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, temperature tolerance, and overall suitability for a given application. Factors to consider are load requirement, environmental conditions, mating material, precision and accuracy required, cost considerations, etc.

We use different types of specialised industrial cold drawn, Stainless and Alloy Steel, manufactured as per DIN 6325, ISO2338 to meet customer technical and application requirements.

Our Facility

We are an MSME, operating at well-established Veerasandra Industrial Estate (developed by KSSIDC - Karnataka State Small Industries Development Corporation) with all required infrastructure and support structure, being close to Bommasandra- Attibele - Hosur Road industrial hub.

We are equipped with skilled manpower along with precision German and other make machines for steel rod/coil cutting, surface grinding, centre-less grinding, specialised notch/groove cutting, CNC Machine, inspection gauges, special fixtures, and tools to be self-reliant.

Heat treatment is being outsourced to well-established 2-3 vendors who are supporting us with their technical expertise for over 3 decades.

Applications & Industries Served

Grooved pins, are specialized fasteners designed with longitudinal notches or grooves along their surface. They are primarily used for precise alignment, positioning, and securing components in machinery applications, particularly where vibration might otherwise cause a standard pin to fall out.

These pins are solid press-fit fasteners that are quickly gaining in popularity. They feature three parallel notches/grooves and are commonly used as locking devices, pivots, levers, or locating elements. The notch, when pressed into a slightly undersized hole, forces the material to deform and lock into place securely.

The advantages include Superior Holding Power - Grooves increase friction, making them more secure than smooth pins in applications prone to vibration. and Self-Locking - The deformation of the grooves ensures the pin stays anchored in the hole.
